Thinking back, most of my fondest childhood memories were of myself outdoors, playing chase with my great aunt’s beloved malinois’, taking photographs of leaves, trees, butterflies. The way sunlight refracted off a windowpane.
Singing and taking in the fresh air by the lung full. All of the beautiful gardens I’ve had the priviledge of walking in – it’s a strange thought but my life right up to and including my late teens was lived surrounded by these luscious gardens. And so this scent combination was born – honeysuckle, may chang, freshly cut grass, the scent of a garden after the rain.
